Charles Hall new to Hill climbing debuts at Prescott in the Empire Wraith 1600cc. Come first practice he set a very promising time which the times kept on falling run after run. The two event runs were good enough to finish second in class and qualify for both Midland Championship rounds. Finishing 7th in the championship rounds nearly concluded an outstanding first meeting for Charles. The weekend finished with an extra high as the commentary announced Charles as Driver of the Meeting.

Meanwhile in the 1100cc class Adam Greenen showcased some great racing to win the class by significant a margin of 1.8 seconds.
