After a season of fierce competition, new drivers and old had an amazing year. Bill and Ron decided with all the motivated and hard working drivers doing so well, it was time to reward the one who stood out the most with an “Empire Driver of the Year” award.
All drivers were asked to vote for their personal favourite driver. It did not have to be the fastest or even the best looking. It was our drivers own personal choice! There were the obvious names and drivers getting votes who never won an event and almost all our drivers voted, which was great. Thank you one and all.
So here he is....The 2017 Driver of the Year BEN STEPHENSON. You all get a chance to win this fantastic trophy next year. So get yourselves ready for a fantastic 2018 season.Happy Christmas to all our drivers, young, old, fast and not so fast. Have a great one from Bill and Ron.
